V130-15IKB-Lenovo bios advanced menu problem

hi,

ı would like to change some setting on my computers bios but, ı can not reach bios advanced menu.as ı understand some limitations have been imposed.

my question is;is there anything I can do? bringing it back bios advanced menu?

8VCN17WW bios version.

Hi @veyselozdemir,

 

Welcome to the Community Forums!

 

Not all Lenovo computers will have the Advanced Menu in BIOS. Checking the BIOS setup on your model, it does not have the Advanced menu (please refer to the attached image). What settings are you planning to change?

thx for answering. ı would like to change my ram-video card sharing for my personal use habits.

 

sometime ı need more ram power and sometime need more video card capasity, ı would like to control it manuel but ı cant reach that options. (advanced menu)

 

is there another way or solution for this problem ?

Since the Advanced menu is not available in the BIOS, perhaps switching to Integrated Graphics card would provide more RAM for basic usage on your laptop as the BIOS automatically share and allocate some of the RAM to the GPU to improve its performance. Unless a BIOS update is released to enable this feature, this is most likely a limitation of the unit.
