V330-15IKB Laptop graphics card upgrade

I am a DJ and I am getting in to DJing video. I would like to upgrade the graphics card on my V330-15IKB Laptop I was wondering what one would fit in my laptop? Thank you for your time.

Hi DJDraco,

 

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

As with most laptops, upgrading the GPU is not possible since it is soldered on board (not slotted). So any change in the GPU would have the entire systemboard replaced.

 

 

 

It may be a better option investing on another laptop with higher GPU depending on your needs as systemboards are pricey and is not economically a good option for upgrade.

Hi DJDraco,

 

Yes, you may not place an upgrade GPU chip since it is soldered on-board.

It is not socketed as shown in the image above.
