Hello Oxygen26

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Try to see if you are able to update the BIOS, see if that can make a difference for you.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

I don't see any indication that the V510 supports NVMe drives:

Does it mean that this laptop phisically cant support (maybe in the future update) nvme m2 ssd? I think its the kaby lake system and they all support nvme m2 ssd.

It's here the support for PCIe 3.0 storage wich is NVMe right? http://psref.lenovo.com/syspool%5CSys/PDF/Lenovo%20Laptops/Lenovo%20V510%20(15_)/Lenovo_V510_15IKB_Platform_Specifications.pdf

Also I updated to the latest version of BIOS 2WCN29WW from 2017/07/17 and now appears on BIOS a slot "NVMe:" but empty when there is an Samsung 960 EVO m.2 NVMe on the m.2 slot.

Lenovo/Samsung are aware of this? Are they solving or what?

Is an possible update to the bios to support the NVMe?

Will this work or not? If yes when is the ETA?
