I have a V570 stock from best buy a few years back (4 maybe) and it came with 6 gigs (a 2 gig and a 4 gig). On the information here I decided to upgrade and purchased 16 gigs (2 x 8g). I got 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 MHZ DV 170131. It does not work. Any thoughts on why it doesn't work. I have never tried this kind of stuff before, but I'm generally handy and it seems straightforward. I put the old memory back in and it works fine so I know I didn't mess anything up.
Any thoughts as to why it didn't work?
