Volume and Brightness controls

So I was installing Lenovo Drivers on my laptop after I nuked the hard drive and to repartition. However, somehow, I have TWO volume and brightness controls. Any ideas anyone?

Hi ychen428,

 

I saw your other post over here .  Is your audio working properly now with the exception of having two volume controls?

 

Seeing as how the hotkeys are incorporated into Energy Management, could it be that there are two versions of Energy Management installed?  The on screen displays look like an older version and a new version.

Hi Dave,

I reinstalled the drivers, so now the hotkey doesn't work, but at least the audio is working. Is there a way to enable the hotkeys? Additionally, after startup, Onekey theatre says to install the correct audio driver, but nothing seems wrong with it. Any ideas?

Hi Yuting Chen,

 

You might have to uninstall Energy Management from Programs and Features in Control Panel and then reinstall it to get the Hotkeys working. Make sure you don't have two versions of Energy Management installed.  

 

Let me know after that if Onekey theatre still says to install the correct driver.
