hi guys i need an urgent reply from lenovo guys. when i was watching movie a month ago a thin appeared in between lenovo n500 screen . i connected another monitor and that was fine . it means my lcd got problem. some one told me that an ic is damaged . lenovo guys please tell me that lenovo warranty covers this problem?
secondly what is the cost of repair?

i was looking for some tech guy from lenovo admins who can tell me exact problem . 2 admins dont bothered to reply my pm today. huh. lets hope for the best .

It's difficult to diagnose just by what you posted here. If the display is fine on an external display hooked to your system, then it seems the GPU is fine and the drivers are OK, so I would agree it is most likely an issue with the LCD.
Are you seeing these lines appear within other programs or at other times? If it's a hardware fault in the LCD or the wiring cable, then I would expect them to occur more than just when watching a movie.
What happens if you move the LCD a few degrees? Do the lines come and go? If so, this could suggest a bad internal cable.
Try giving support a call - they can diagnose, and schedule a depot repair for you as needed.
