I recently returned a v570 that I purchased at Best Buy, and I was hoping to get another one. The Best Buy employee said they (and all other Best Buys in Maryland, Virginia and D.C.) were no longer carrying the v570. I also can't find it online. I'm just curious if the v570s are no longer a Lenovo product?

It looks like they are still available here.

Thanks.... I actually saw this today and the way that I phrased my question was terrible. I should have asked, why are they not sold in stores anymore? I was thinking that maybe a new model could be coming...? I would buy it from the Lenovo website but when I bought it in a store, it was much cheaper, so I just wanted to figure this out before I went ahead and spent the extra money.

Hi newuser,
They're a bit cheaper at Amazon.
I'm not privy to the whims of the marketing execs at Lenovo or at the big stores, but, I do know that stores don't like to keep models in stock too long or they become stale. Last year, new models were shipping at the end of Feb.
I'll bet that right after the xmas holidays and new years there probably were some bargains in the stores.

I know the V570 is selling for $579.00 in Best Buy here in GA. I don't know if you are interested in getting a good deal but the Lenovo site has the Z570 model scratch and dent or refurbished with the i5 for about $479.00, the Z570 is a step up from the V570 with the touch buttoms for volume, fan speed and video on the top deck, may something to think about.

Yeah I saw the V570s were still in stock in random states around the country, unfortunately none by me, and they don't offer shipping. I will definitely check out Amazon and the refurbished Z570s. Thanks for the help!
