Anybody need an ultrabook, with ThinkPad features?
Here´s the new T430u!
The stylish ThinkPad T430u ultrabook borrows some of the elements typically found on premium laptops, such as a matte finish that’s soft to the touch and an aluminum top cover that complement its small - less than 0.8-inches and less than four pound - frame. It also sports ThinkPad’s new modern and minimalist island-style keyboard.
The 14-inch laptop has business-primed features including:

I got some questions about this particular model, which I would like to answer here:
Are there any othe display resolution options than HD resolution? No.
Glossy or non-glossy display? Edit: According to the official press information glossy display.
Edit: January the 12th. according to the hands-on video there will be a matte display.
Does it have Thunderbolt? No, but two usb 3.0 ports at the right side.
ThinkPad T430u ultrabook will be available starting in Q3 2012, respectively, through business partners and online at www.lenovo.com. Pricing for models starts at approximately $849.
Best regards
Andreas

So it is a 14" X1? Glossy screen, island keyboard, and a clickpad. I'm not impressed.
Does it have an optical drive or ability to have a second drive bay?

Hi all
Will there still be T430s, or T430u would be a replacement of T430s?
Hopefully, 2012 would be a better year for all of you!
Peter

@nibs:
It is a 14" screen. Per the video, the glossy screen will not stay, this is just a mock-up of the design. The real product will have a flat matte finish screen.
Due to the thinness it will not have an optical drive or an UltraBay for a second drive.

@PeterTWJ :
T430u is a new system in our lineup as Ultrabooks are all the rage nowadays We' ve received a lot of requests for a T-series "no-compromise" Ultrabook.
We are not ready to announce the rest of the 2012 ThinkPad lineup, but T430u is not a replacement

What is the screen resolution on this thing?
I hope it is 1600x900...
What model of NVIDIA does it come with?
Is it worth buying or should I just buy T420?
