Mobile Broadwell i5/i7 video editing performance

2015-01-16, 17:48 PM

Hi, I'm considering the purchase of the new Carbon X1 with either the new i5 or i7 Broadwell CPU. But I'm wondering if the graphics unit in those is powerful enough to allow fluently working with video editing software such as Cyberlink Power Director. Adobe Premiere (Elements), and such? My desktop features a Nvidia GPU which makes working with those programs smooth; but will this still work smoothly in absence of a dedicated GPU with those new CPUs?
