Hello :)

Unless one of my ad blockers is hiding it, it looks like something went wrong in posting. I don't see anything! I hope it's not the 'anypen' video that you tried to post, because 'anypen' is not featured on any of the ThinkPad Yogas, and is different from 'activepen' as we discussed earlier. If you have a demo video of the ActivePen, that would be awesome.

Edit: ok, the video shows now. Not particularly informative.. :)

Hello

I don't have a video, but I have a still from Juan Dimida (a Lenovo Insider - thanks Juan, for this!) .

Wow, thanks for all the lightning fast updates, really fantastic. From the still it's hard to tell if the ActivePen is pressure sensitive. Do you happen to know that?

Yes, in my non-artist hands, it's definitely pressure sensitive, just like the prior RF tech digitizer pens.

Cheers.

Thanks for chiming in sarbin! Do you happen to know about pressure sensitivity on the ActivePen? And if it's pressure sensitive, how many levels?

Edit: you answered my question before I asked it! :)  Lenovo, breaking the mold space-time continuum.

I actually don't know how many discrete pressure levels. I seem to recall reading that the Wacom pen/digitizer in my Helix gen 1, offered 2000(?) levels, but I'm not sure if that was when the Wacom WinTab drivers were installed, or OOB.

Again, I'm not an artist, so we're getting into an area where I'm out of my expertise. Apologies.

Cheers.

I have some questions.

Is the keyboard backlit?
Does it have palm rejection capabilities?
How's the battery life for the active pen, how long does it last? Which is superior? Dolby Home theater or Dolby Advanced audio v4?

Thanks

Thanks

1- I'll do my best to get back into the product expo to check on the keyboard of the display models.

2- It may be hard to test that on the display models considering how they're displayed, but I'll see if I can get an answer. I'd be surprised if they don't have palm rejection, though.

3- AAAA battery life in the pen is reported to be 6 to 9 months, depending on usage. YMMV.

4- Sorry, can't say which Dolby scheme would be superior. Would likely be subjective, though.

Cheers.

...and also still pending, what is the correct weight of the new Yoga 12? The spec sheet is clearly incorrect.

I don´t know for sure, but I bet its the same as the old Yoga 12 - as the new one is a update of the old one with the same chassis/screen/keyboard, with TrackPoint buttons...
