Hi all.. I just got the Chromebook c330. Install the Netflix app and the video looks horrible, is very pixelated and is white whitewashed at times. It also looks this way through the Chrome app as well. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, and I've also power washed the computer and started from scratch and the problem persists.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Is this issue also happening with other video streaming sites? (ie youtube)
If not, it may be possible that Netflix's quality options are set to low you may have to contact them for additional assistance.

Hello, no it is not happening on other sites. Yes the first thing I checked was the setting on the app and it's the set to show high quality. I also have a strong internet connection and I tested the speed and I'm getting about 30 to 50 kilobytes per second. And all other devices I have in the house even really old ones from like 2010 Netflix works fine so I can't figure out what the issue is. It's a really odd pixelation it's almost looks like a character or something in the movie is being erased with a computer program and then the rest of the picture looks fine. Amazon looks fine, YouTube looks fine I have a Plex Media Server and it looks fine, but Netflix is practically unwatchable

Hi my daughter is having the exact same issue with the exact same Lenovo chromebook - would be interested in solution to this we have also tried power washing and the suggestions here to no avail. Very disappointed as the chromebook. Is used for Netflix a lot. WiFi signal is perfect on a 100meg fibre connection
