Chromebook C330 camera does not save pictures to DCIM

My new C330 saves camera pictures to "Downloads", not "DCIM". How do I change the location of my pictures to DCIM or another unique folder?

I set Google Photos to backup Downloads, but it backs up all the pictures in Downloads including stuff I download off the web.

Re: Chromebook C330 camera does not save pictures to DCIM

Hi lenovouser101,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

I apologize for the late reply. Kindly let me know if you are still having this issue.

DCIM stands for “Digital Camera Images" this means that any pictures taken by your machine is automatically saved to DCIM. Since the photos from your backup is downloaded it is automatically saved to downloads instead of DCIM.

You can change the download designation by accessing this chrome://settings/?search=downloads under Downloads it will allow you to change where the downloads are automatically saved. *please note that this will affect all downloads.

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Jack_Lenovo1
