Lenovo DUET: characters lost during input of text using Outlook-app

hi there,

Strange phenomena happening during input of characters via the keyboard or touchscreen.

After typing a few sentences it sometimes happens that all characters that I have input were spontaneously deleted one by one.  

It happens on a regular basis using the Outlook-app but it also occured when I was editing a Google-document.

anyone encountered the same issue?

 

I already tried a clean wash, rebooting.

I uninstalled the Outlook-app, and now I'm using the web version of Outlook.  I have to wait and see, but my first impression looks promising. 

the chromebook seems to be more responsive also

Welcome to the Community.

 

It would seem strange for having such issue with both onscreen keyboard and the physical keyboard.

Here you may want to re try another Reset.

 

Follow the gudelines here (page10)

If you still have the same issue then try using a different account to see if this is an account related issue.

It's good to know that the device's working fine now after performing a factory reset, great job!

 

Usually, factory reset removes all bugs that affects the device's performance and reset all of its settings as well.
