I just bought a Lenovo Yoga C630 Chromebook when on holiday in the USA. I have just noticed that I can see vertical white lines on the screen, this is mainly noticeable when there is a blue or orange background. It sort of looks like an old CRT where you can see a very thin white line inbetween the pixels. I have attached some pics, I wondered if there was a solution to this problem, and whether the Chromebook will be covered under warranty now that I am back in the UK? Any help would be welcome.

You might need to take a picture of your screen as a screenshot is just a copy of the data being sent to your screen. There are no white lines on my display viewing what you've attached.

Can anybody help me out? Is there any way to fix it as Lenovo UK are saying that I cannot return it as it was bought in the USA. Despite being assured that the warranty was global when i bought it.

Hi. Did you get anywhere with this? I bought one on Sunday and it was the first thing I noticed. All light blue icons/buttons appear to have white stripes down them instead of being a solid colour. I've never seen this before on any other laptop I've owned. Did Lenovo admit to there being a fault?

They said that they couldn't see a fault on the images that I sent them. As it was bought in America they wouldn't honour the warranty in the UK. They said I could send it in for the technicians to investigate and that they would let me know a price to repair it. Clearly there is an issue with these screens but Lenovo don't appear to be doing anything about it. I am very disappointed as it is my first time buying a Lenovo product, aside from the screen I really like the Chromebook.
