We just bought 32 N20P chromebooks to use at our organization - along with a nice little CART which is made to hold 32 tablets/laptops.
I am having a problem - for some reason, the chromebooks seem to "sense" the next chromebook in the rack, and turn back ON.
To be clear - here's what's happening:
1. I close the lid on all 32 chromebooks, and they all go to "SLEEP".
2. I place each chromebook into the cabinet rack
3. Immediately, (most) laptops seem to turn back ON - the power light pops back ON.
I believe that there might be a magnetic "sensor" on the screen which detects when you close the lid - and the magnet from an adjacent laptop is causing the chromebook to think that the screen has been OPENED.
The chromebooks lose about 10% battery life overnight if they are placed in the cabinet..
So what can be done?? help!
You can observe the same thing if you stack 2 or 3 chromebooks on top of each other...
