I think we may be having a basic miscommunication...
MY Chromebook will NOT accept SD cards, only MMC cards.
So any variety of adapter with SD as the 'end point' will not work.
NONE of the SD cards I have surveyed for sale (Amazon, eBay, Kingston) include a SD-to-MMC adapter (as you seem to indicate)
The adapters you show on your reply are MicroSD-to-SD, which will not work (you confirmed that my Chromebook reads MMC, NOT SD)
Am I misunderstanding something?

Sorry for the confusion.
The Chromebook supports both MMC and SD Cards since the machine has a 2-in-1 SD card slot.
You can check this related link for an example SD card that has an adapter included in the package: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B073JYVKNX/ref=sxin_0_ac_d_pm?ac_md... (Amazon 3rd party link)
Hope this clears up the confusion.

NO, we're back to the start of this thread!
An SD card WILL NOT fit into my Chromebook!
You indicated there was an adapter (SD-to-MMC) originally included (which are no longer available from Lenovo)
The Amazon link you provided is for SD (NOT an MMC)
I'll post again with a fresh start, perhaps someone else has better information, thank you!

I'm looking for an adapter that will fit an SD card into the MMC slot for my N21 Chromebook.
An SD card will NOT fit into the slot on my N21, hence the need for this adapter.
Apparently these were included in original shipping but I bought mine used (no such adapter included)
A bit of research on Wikipedia indicates that MMC and SD card types are not perfectly interchangable, MMC fitting into SD, but not always the other way around. This seems to be the case for N21 "MMC/SD" card reader.
THANKS IN ADVANCE for any help!

Jack_Lenovo1, Please read my posts before replying, we are talking in circles.
I appreciate your zealousness, but you are NOT answering the issue/question.
MY FIRST POST says "SD card will not fit into my Chromebook MMC/SD reader slot!"
ALL OTHER POSTS say the same thing...
You're not hearing me...
Your statement of "SD will fit into the slot since both the MMC and SD card are similar in size"
SD card will NOT fit, not without the adapter you already indicated is necessary.

I have checked the system specifications of this machine and it is highlighted that the port can use both SD/MMC.
I forgot to mention that the only time you would need to use an adapter for the SD card is if you are using a MicroSD card this is to allow the MicroSD card to function similar to an SD (image attached below for reference)
Hope this helps.

No, actually it does NOT help at all!
You are telling me that the specifications indicate SD/MMC.
I am telling you that SD does not fit.
We can continue to repeat these statements indefinitely.
But that will not answer my original question...
"Has anyone successfully used SD card in N21 Chromebook?"

When you mention that the SD card does not fit do you mean that it doesn't insert all the way into the machine or the SD card doesn't fit into the slot at all?
I have actually tested one of the chromebooks with a dummy SD card and it is actually intended to not fit in all the way (only about half-way through) but this should still read the SD card.
Please clarify which one of these scenarios you have, so I can help out.
