Brand new N22 chromebooks at a school district, student has had it for 2 weeks and now his t, y, and refresh buttons don't work. Can't if reset or reinstall because the refresh button doesn't work. Checked to see if his keyboard layout had accidentally changed causing the issue, but it hadn't. Any ideas?

Hello ldobbins, welcome to the Community,
a good way to check whether or not the keyboard is the problem, hardware failure, would be to attach an external USB keyboard to see if the T & Y buttons work. If they do work with the external keyboard attached then it is likely that the system keyboard is defective and you will need to open a service ticket.

No its a crappy keyboard issue, replacing keyboards on my N22's and solving problems. I cant just send 20 one to one chromebooks out to lenovo when the kids need them constantly. Can you guys help by sending keyboards when this occurs again. This Chromebook is not as good a quality compared to my N21's. Zero problems with them last year minus a few screen replacements.

I am having the exact same proble. All of the sudden, I have had 9 N22s come in with various keys not working. I have re-imaged, etc. to no avail. Horrible product. We are contacting CDW about returning 150 of them since lenovo cant seem to come up with a fix that doesnt require me to send 150 chromebooks in for service.

This seems to be an on going issue. Here is a link for a longer support question on the same topic.
I'm also having the same problem with our schools 1400 chromebooks. So far only 15 are having the issue after one month of use. Free shipping on these chromebooks and free repairs will be hapening period.
