I am Hoping to fit a USB 3.0 pci express card to H330 desktop small form factor pc. The blanking plate that has to be removed only measures 60mm across, the two port ones i see online appear to be much longer than this, has enybody been able to find one to fit. or adapt one to fit.

You need to search for "USB 3.0 and PCI and SFF" and you will find cards such as the VisionTek USB 3.0 2-port PCIe Small Form Factor host adapter card (part number 900598) which ships with both the regular and small form factor (SFF) mounting plates. You might be able to find it in a local computer store, or you can order it from NewEgg UK for £18.33 +VAT

The adapter comes with a Molex male (the white 4 wire adapter) to the standard SATA power plug needed for the adapter, but if you already have just SATA power plugs inside, you can get a SATA power splitter if needed to add an additional SATA power connection and skip the included adapter, or Molex splitter to add an additional Molex female connector to pug in the included adapter.

I wished to add USB 3 support to my H330 too, I added a FebSmart 2 Ports USB 3.0 PCI Express (PCIe) card which came with a standard and low profile backplate, with the latter it fitted easily.
The FebSmart has the advantage of onbourd regulators to convert the PCIe 12V to 5V, so no additional power leads or messing with a SATA Power Splitter required. The card works well and no drivers were required (I use Linux).
