Computer crashed, all attempt to recover have failed

2009-05-01, 15:47 PM

The computer is about 6 months old, IdeaCentre K210.  Started crashing/freezing last nite.  Ended up with blank screen and powering down.

Tried the following:

1.  Turned on power and pressed OneKey Antivirus key.  Proper screen came up but froze there, did not go to next step.

2.  Powered on--Put in Safe Mode:  froze.

3.  Powered on:;Put in Last Safe Configuration:  froze.

4.  Powered on:  Put in Lenovo Product Recovery DVD, said copying Windows files, selected language, etc. Then another screen came up saying no drivers were present and to insert DVD with drivers.  Took out Lenovo Product Recovery DVD and inserted Lenovo Drivers Pack V2.2 for Vista and clicked OK.  Said there were no drivers even tho when I browsed to it they were listed.  So had to exit from the Recovery.

Please assist, I'm going crazy.

I downloaded each of those options and the computer would not read either one.

The power comes on, the screen is black, Intel (R) Boot Agent SEV4.1.21 Copyright(c) Intel Corp.

PXE-E61:Media Test failure , check cable.

PXE-MOS: Exiting Intel Boot Agent. Reboot or select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.

When you press a key, it says initializing and establishing link...and it just does the same thing again.
