Hi there,
i purchased my Desktop IdeaCentre T540-15ICK G, since mid of last march 2020.
**The Issue**
And since last August it's start having a disturbing random Freeze of 3-5 seconds, each 20 up to 60min once or more, random timing, sometimes without even performing any task. And sometimes it's get a Hard freeze that even the Brightness of the screen change to a disturbing level.
PS: a weird observation of it's just by coincidence 1 in each 2 times i try to Empty the "Recycle bin" it does happens, yes could be a weird coincidence.
**My Situation **
Having the warranty, but the service related to LENOVO should take the desktop for 15 days to fix it, which is impossible as my daily work is within it and i couldn't manage being away from my daily tasks even for 1 day, and they don't offer on spot service. So I hope some lead to trigger the issue so i fix it my own within your guidance.
**My Configuration **
-Motherboard: LENOVO 3714 - Intel B365 (Kaby Lake)
-Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
-RAM: 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable) 2666Mhz
-System: WIN10 Pro 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
-Card graphic: Intel UHD Graphics 630 integrated + NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660
**Things i did and it didn't HELP**
1- I did a clean format for the desktop. (same thing(
2- Stopped the Win10 updates (as heard it could be that but it didnt).
3- Stopped the PCI card (as saw some people fixed for them from some youtube video, but it didn't)
4- Took out the integrated Graphic card (with integrated one only and keeps happening)
5- Changed the RAM (same thing).
6- Even Changed the screen (same thing).
7- Changed the Mouse (same thing)
8- Printer USB off (as some said to take off all the usb ports to do the test to be sure is not related to it)
9- Went through Lenovo Vintage to do the hardware test, everything shows perfect.
10- Having an Avira Premium security suite Paid version, i worked with for all my previous laptops/desktop never had an issue, and anyway i did a clean format it didn't help.
11- Did a memory diagnostic from windows 10 nothing found.
12- Cleaned the system files and cleared all system files issues, but didn't help.
=> i'm not sure but maybe it's the PSU that comes with it as it's 310W max (80 +), is not supporting the configuration, as i tried to purchase a higher PSU W, but for this Desktop is the FRU type which is the max W 310 on the market available, and not sure if the other types TFX little larger could fit and work with it, that's in case in the issue.
Thanks,
Sam
