Dual Monitors on H430 Desktop

I have 5 year old H430 desktop with a pair of 23" monitors using a DVI and HDIM input working.  One of monitors failed so I just upgraded to a pair of 27" HDMI input monitors and they only work as duplicate and won't extend.  Using W-10 and the onboard grapics that came with the computer.  Both monitors a connected to the single HDMI port via a Y connector.   Any ideas or help will be gratly appreicated.

Re: Dual Monitors on H430 Desktop

With a HDMI 'Y' cable, you will only get a duplication of the same display.  For 2 independent displays, you need to connect one to the DVI and one to the HDMI port.

There are converter cables available.  You won't have audio, and ensure it will work with the type of DVI port on your PC.  StarTech is a reputable brand.
