I have a H30-90B with the AMD E1 1.3Ghz and it is paid fully slow. Is there any way to increase the speed outside of buying a new PC?

You have a H30-05 model 90BJ with an AMD E1-6010 processor 2 cores 1.35 GHZ.
This processor is soldered to the motherboard.
You have two memory slots; put 4GB memory in each for a total of 8GB.
Memory 8GB max, PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3, two 204-pin DIMM sockets
You have a HDD spinner, sata, of some size. 500GB or 1TB.
Take your spinner out and put a 2.5 inch Sata SSD in.
They state machine can hold two 8GB sticks.
Buy SSD 1st.

Agreed, 8 GB is critical for best performance, even if only running a browser; more if your something intense like photo or video editing. And a SSD makes a big difference on start-up, and program load times. If you're doing something that is graphics intensive, then adding a graphics card would make a difference, something like a used GT 730.

(1) SSD 2.5 inch Sata
(2) a smidge of memory , ie +4GB added.
(3) Graphics card<YES YES YES <<<BiggAL has the recommends.
If your stuff is not backed up, you wasted yourself a lot of time.
