I ran a full hardware drive scan for my lenovo 710-251SH computer.
All passed except the motherboard. It showed that there was an issue.
In looking at the results it appears to be the usb test that failed.
I thought it was an external harddrive that I had hooked up in the top of the unit.
I safely removed the usb and disconnected it from the computer.
I ran the hardware drive scan again, and again the same result.
The code is wmb0000f00008-w07b8l
"This result code indicates that problems were found with this device.
Follow on screen directions etc etc"
when I did so to contact lenovo, it just states that this is out of warranty.
It's only 2 years old. I received as a gift.
I do not know what to do, if anything.
Are there any suggestions as to how to fix this?
or find out what actually may be the problem.
Is it the motherboard or just a usb issue.
Thank you in advance.

Hello SJ64 and welcome to the Lenovo forum,
I ran into this issue as well numerous times. At first noticed running the hardware tests after a restart the USB would not get flagged as failed. But for another reason I had turned off Windows 10 Fast Startup and as a result or side effect the hardware tests always pass without issues.
