Is there any possible way to Upgrade to an EVGA 750ti in a Ideacentre K410

Because I would really, really like to know.

I have this brand new card that I want to install, only to find out that the lack of a bios update is preventing the card from actually running. So, it fails POST when the new card is in.

The old card is on it'way out. It was a 550ti and it's been crashing. But when it is plugged in, it runs for a while.

I've read and read and read for the past thee hours, and the only solution I can come up with is that the BIOS needs to be updated. But the last BIOS update was in 2012 for this machine...

Everything else is in spec for the card. I have a XFX Pro 650 watt power supply. So I kno power is not the issue. The case has recently been cleaned.

I really don't want to return the card for a 600 series.

So is there anyway to actually get it running or am I Up the creek without a paddle?
