This error means display memory error. Please try to upgrade BIOS in your PC. If it still won't work, then there's a high chance, that motherboard isn't compatible with this GPU.

Same issues.  Yesterday, I upgraded 650watts and 16Ram DD3 in H430 with GTX640 2G DDR3.  I tried to install RX580 8G DRR5, but black screen stayed when I turned it on.  Nothing happened.  We tried to install GTX 730 4GB and GTX 1050 6GB.  Same issues.  We figured out.  I felt that H430 requires 2GB with any DDR..  I will try 2GB GDDR5.   Good Luck on figuring out.  Do you have any idea of soluation?

This may be correct, as I found a couple of H430 system benchmarks (PassMark) that have GTX 1050 (not Ti, and most likely with 2 GB DDR5.)

Update:  we're seeing fake 1050 cards from China using older Nvidia graphics processors.  This would explain the lower 3D performance ranking than a 750 Ti.  And why they worked with the older legacy BIOS of the H430.

See the above post for a list of older graphics cards known to work with your system (new cards may not work with the legacy BIOS on your system.)   Find the best 2 GB card for resale at your budget.  My best guess, a GT 640 or GT 630 (Kepler.)

Re: Lenovo H430: graphics upgrade, is GTX 1050 2GB possible?

hey guys, been idle from these sorts of forums, i found a motherboard bios somwhere a few months back, installed the bios, bricked my motherboard and bought a new, more compatible one, since then i have been running the same cpu in 1155, a gtx 1050ti 4gb gpu and 10gigs of ram on a 500watt psu uses around 370watts at peak, however the psu fan died and i replaced it with a casefan. i would replace it entirely but due to long term sickness it will be a while. for those with the stock lenovo h430 motherboards identical to mine i suggest you replace it with somthing better as the h430 seems to be pretty imcompatible with anything fairly modern,
