Re: Lenovo H520s Video Card

Hi all, I'm not looking for a video card for games....I just need to run 2 monitors. My current card that came with my H520 only has one monitor slot.... I would prefer not to change the power supply if possible. What would you suggest?

Hi All,

For those who aren't able to get the discrete graphics card working, can you try to boot into the BIOS (press  F1 on power up) and set the following settings:

Devices Tab:

ATA Video Setup = Auto or PEG

Security Tab:

Secure Boot = Disabled

Startup/Boot Tab:

CSM = Enabled

Boot Mode = Auto

Boot Priority = Legacy First

Exit Tab:

OS Optimized Defaults=Enabled

When done, press F10 to save and exit BIOS and observe if you can now boot from the discrete card.

Note:

In some cases, the OS may fail to boot after performing the above procedure. You may need to press the OneKey Recovery button or use a recovery media to restore the OS

The GT 630 works in this system (and is way better than the other one you posted.)   Just make sure the particular card you select will physically fit in the slot of the system.
