I am currently in the same situation, but on a new windows install I am having trouble getting the card to work. It did on old instal, but I put in a new SSD.
I have also purchased the 420W supply, but have to modify the case a little to get it in. My motherboard also only accepts the 10 pin Molex. I have head the power supply will continute to run when you shut down. Also, If this is the case, then using the SATA power cables from the PSU might also be a bad idea as I would not want them continuously powered.
Any hints, thoughts, comments.....
Not encouraging, but the link to buy from is gone, but this one is there: https://www.amazon.com/Replace-Power-Desktop-Supply-RP-TFX-420W/dp/B01KMCFXKC the review is not encouraging.
