I have a strange problem with my lenovo ideacentre 300s. The cpu frequency is stuck at 0.48ghz and refuses to go any higher regardless of the computer's load. If I change the settings around in the bios for the cpu by disabling EIST and turning off almost all C-states; the processor operates at it's native frequency of 1.60ghz but it obviously won't turbo boost. How can I fix this? Why does this computer act this way?

After further research on the web, lenovo yogas had the same problem as well, which was resolved by a bios update. It seems to be related to a bd prochot signal, which I can't disable in throttlestop. Does anyone know of a knowledgeable lenovo employee on here who deals with bios programming?
