Looking for help with replacing lost power cables.

Following a recent move cross country, I have unfortunately lost my power cable (both parts) for my Lenovo H30-05 desktop. Whilst it was really cheap desktop, and probably needed replacing soon anyway, I'm not really in a financial position to do that at present.

I've searched amazon and ebay, and even Lenovo's own website to relatively no avail, so was wondering if anyone could possibly suggest where I may be able to replace the lost cables, or any other alternatives I can persue.

Any help would be very much appreciated, and I can provide further information if this is all a bit too vague.

Re: Looking for help with replacing lost power cables.

Reference your HMM, page 59

https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/desktop_pub/lenovo_h30_hmm_20140929.pdf

It has a ton of power cords for many countries.

Find your part number and google search it.

Maybe these for you:

Volex        1.0M C5 UK Power cord 31049496

Luxshare  1.0M C5 UK Power cord 31503352

Re: Looking for help with replacing lost power cables.

There are loads of places in the UK that sell laptop power supplies (which is the type your H30-05 uses) and parts, such as PSA Parts Ltd  in London (+44 20 8685 6300), Powersupplies online in Reading (+44 151 546 6447) or Power4Laptop in Burnley (+44 844 504 8050).      Just tell them what system you have and they should be able to set you up.   If you still have the power supply block itself, perhaps supply just the two missing cables.

Your power supply should have looked similar to the one below, which is a common Lenovo laptop style used on current Thinkpads and some slimline desktop using external power supplies.

Any of the following adapters could have been shipped with your system, and there are many after market ones available for about £20 or so.

Description                                                                            Lenovo part #

Delta ADP-65FD BE 65W adapter                                     36200352

Liteon PA-1650-72IA 65W adapter                                   36200353

DELTA ADP-90XD BC 90W common adapter ®            36200415

Liteon PA-1900-72IA 90w common adapter®              36200416

DELTA ADP-120ZB BBHT common 120W adapter        36200439

Liteon PA-1121-04LB 120w common adapter              36200440

Re: Looking for help with replacing lost power cables.

@JD,

The H30-05 is a desktop.  Maybe the user can find item needed via the weblinks you provided. The same power cord is used in:

If the part numbers you provided work with the users machine great.

Re: Looking for help with replacing lost power cables.

That is true, but the H30-05, but it does not have an internal power supply, and thus uses an external power supply with the rectangular plug just like a laptop.

The power cord into the power supply varies by country, but my understanding from the post is that the user lost both parts, so replacing the just cord alone is not going to do the trick, so I figured a local resource in the UK might be the best bet.

This is what the original DELTA ADP-120ZB BBHT common 120W adapter (FRU 36200439) that (per the HWM) shipped with a H30-05 looks like with US style power cord.
