Re: Need help abt upgrading graphic card

In this kind of case remember: youtube is your friend. I personally looked up the radeon HD series of cards. Such as  4650, 4770, 4890 etc. Those videos will help you get a hold on what the cards are capable of. Look for Bencmarking videos in which they show you the Framerate for each game played. Or if you just want specs of cards go to either tigerdirct.com or newegg.com.

Re: Need help abt upgrading graphic card

Hi,

I have one suggestion for you. Before you get a card, double check the power rating in watts of your power supply. My K230 has a 180 watt power supply and it is too low for the Nvidia card I purchased. I need to get a better power supply next. A lot of the new cards require a lot of wattage and that requirement is usually listed on the box, so if you don't want to replace your power supply be sure to see what the card is rated for.

Re: Need help abt upgrading graphic card

There should be a label on the power supply specifying the maximum wattage output.
