Overclocking CPU

2009-07-05, 6:45 AM
Is there any trick or work around to overclock my CPU in myn K210 pc? Ive got a pathetic 1.6 pentium dual core. I mean it does most things I need it to do but boot up speed is horrible. and My pc slows down alot for no reason sometimes. I'm definately going to upgrade but I'm just wondering if there is anyway to OC it now.

unless you are using demanding applications, there is no reason to overclock your CPU.check out for startup items and disable any if you dnt need.Boot time defragmentation also results in speedy bootup times.

overclocking the CPU may void your warranty

If your system has a come with diskeeper you can use that to defragment the MFT or use any ultilites like tuneup 2009

Since you say that your system is very slow..yo can try tuneup utilities its a very good app to keep your system in an optimized condition
