I have tried to run Lenovo's System Diagnostics and all I see is a message in red telling me that it is running and to wait. Well I waited for an hour and I suspect it was not running at all.
I never had to wait this long. Why is this and it is not acceptable?

Hi rjordan393 ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Either that the LSC is not ok or it has encountered issue during the test that was not able to verify.
Try to uninstall it from programs and features under control panel and download a fresh updated copy from the support site and see if that would work.
Update us how things go.

Hi rjordan393 ,
Now that we know the LSC maybe corrupted as it suppose to show installed apps on programs and features.
When you attempt to reinstall LSC from the support site, notice the targetted default folder that it suggest ( this would give us idea on where it is located to remove it manually / silent uninstall or using uninstaller software (hunter mode if still not showing) . I usually place the system on temporary clean boot first to end programs from running on initial start up.
I it always recommended that before any changes are to be made that you backup your important files for safe keep. Ensure that your machine is not infected by any 3rd party virus/ malware and sfc /scannow already is checked and passed as no integrity issue.
Update us as it goes.

I made a mistake. the LSC is on the programs & features but the LSB was not. So I downloaded and installed it. But the LSC will not install. The error I get states that another program is missing for it to install and it does not say what program. I might have to re-=install windows to get this resolved.

Ok, I found the problem. I did a system restore back to 06/05 and there were some programs that were restored that I had uninstalled previously which was a mistake and caused the diagnostics to fail. So after the system restore, My first attempt to run the diagnostic failed. The second attempt was successful.
