I do not know much about your model. In many instances to upgrade the power supply in Lenovo Desktop computers you will need an adapter cable to use a "normal" power supply that uses a standard atx 24 pin mainboard connector. They key seems to be figuring out how many pins are on the main power connector of your motherboard.

Some of these type adapters are available at Amazon. Also, modDIY offers several different adapters for Lenovo, and may be able to custom make the part if they do not already have what you need.  modDIY power supply adapters

WRT type of graphics card and power supply, the amount of room in your case may determine what models you need, or can use. I would stick with brand names with good reviews for both products.

I personally own and use a Gigabyte GTX 1060 3gb "Mini" model and have been very happy with the price and the performance. I also bought a Gigabyte GTX 960 4gb "Mini" for my Nephew, and it works great as well. Gigabyte honored the rebate for my product.  IMO the 1060 is a much more powerful card for not too much more money.

I have had good luck with Antec and EVGA power supplies. Any quality PSU model over 500 watts should power the system with the 1060 installed. If you think you may upgrade to a more power hungry graphics card later, perhaps get a 600-700 watt model.

However, to be clear here - I have not used the GTX 1060, nor any aftermarket power supply in a Lenovo Desktop, so your reults may vary.

K450 - upgrading to GTX 960 and power supply

Searching the PassMark system benchmark database, I found also found baselines for K450 with Gtx 970 and 980 installed.
