Welcome to the Lenovo Community !

Try going into Windows Device Manager and select the wifi adapter.  Right click your mouse on it and then choose uninstall from the menu.  Then reboot your computer to see if Windows will now correctly install the drivers for it.

Since problem is related to the  Network Controller did you try reinstalling the BlueTooth and Network LAN Ethernet driver ?

When you installed Windows 7 did you also install the Intel Chipset and Intel ME driver.  Those two need to be installed first so that the remaining hardware drivers can be installed correctly.
