Question

I recently ordered the K230  off of Newegg and while it hasn't arrived yet, I was wondering if anybody in the community had any experience or luck in overclocking the CPU in this machine.

Answer

Overclocking is not recommended since it may void your warranty. Moreover the CPU when running on more speed than the factory standard may just die down.

More on the damages caused by overclocking as quoted by intel :

power, abnormal electrical, mechanical or environmental conditions, usage not in accordance
with product instructions, misuse, neglect, alteration, repair, improper installation, or improper
