Lenovo Explorer: Headset no display, preview works and shows movement

It seems to work in everyway except the display of the headset is completely black.

Last time I used it, it worked absolutely fine.  I did a Windows Recovery, and completely uninstalled my display drivers and reinstalled them.

I use a PCI powered USB 3.0 card, which worked just fine before to power it.

Why would it all of a sudden stop working?  

And it is just barely out of the warranty as well, meaning I'm stuck with a disfunctioning headset.

Still no solution, and continued research into solutions after this time provides none that work for me.
