Lenovo Explorer and Razer Blade Stealth 2019

Hello everyone,

I have a Razer Blade Stealth 2019, 10th gen. Intel i7, NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5 VRAM with Max-Q Design and I just can't get the Explorer working. I get the "check your display cable" error.

The laptop does not have a dedicated HDMI port so I tried two different 4k capable adapters, but it won't work.

I then installed the Explorer to an older MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro, Intel i7, GTX 1060 gaming laptop which has a dedicated HDMI port and it worked.

However, I would really like to use the Razer for its better NVIDIA GTX.

Any help?

Re: Lenovo Explorer and Razer Blade Stealth 2019

Welcome to the Community Forums A73SSANDRO!

Nice to have you here!

The Lenovo Explorer needs to be directly connected to an HDMI (dedicated) port for it to work.

We do understand that you really wanted to connect it to the much newer device (Razer Blade Stealth 2019) however, it seems that this is a limitation with the device (Razer) that you're trying to use right now.

It would be also recommended to contact Razer support as well to ask for workaround if they can offer something that will allow the Lenovo Explorer to be detected by the laptop.

Hope this clears out your concern and helps you out as well.

Thanks!
