310-15IKB Laptop (ideapad) cpu

hello , im just curious about my laptop with i5-7200u cpu

can i change the cpu or upgrad it or its impossible ?

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

As the hardware manual does not offer CPU removal, checking further on the specification and socket of i5-7200u shows it is soldered onboard (BGA- ball grid array) so it can not be upgraded without replacing the entire board instead.

 

Same thing if you notice the description of the motherboard FRU list (item 3 page 90) includes the processor in the board description.
