I have a problem with my lenovo ideapad 100-14iby.
I try setup windows 7 Ultimate from USB drive.
- update bios (to cccn19ww v2.05 from 20-JAN-2016)
- Use usb 2.0 port (black)
Settings in BIOS
- boot mode - legacy support
- boot priority - legacy first
- USB boot - enabled
- OS Optimized - Disabled
I wanted to install the Windows 7 but everytime the " loading files " i get a bsod with the message " The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant Stop 0x000000A5 "
I tried all kind of different settings through the bios, changed from UEFI boot to Legacy / disabled secure boot / I set the ACHI to compatible / use 2 different flash cards / but the end result is the same.
Boot flash drive was made with Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool from original image of windows 7.
Earlier this image was setup multiple times on different computers.
What is the problem and is there a fix for it?
Somebody setup windows 7 on Lenovo Ideapad 100-14IBY successfully?

Ihave the exact same issue as described in this topic. I am trying to downgrade from Win10 to Win7 for better performance but I am constantly getting the "BIOS is not fully ACPI compliant..." error when trying to boot from USB. I have updated the BIOS to the latest one available on the Lenovo support page. I tried every possible option in BIOS but with no result. I tried with a USB DVD drive as well just in case the USB flash drive I was using was not OK.
Please let me know what else I can try to get this working.
