Flex 3-1570 going into sleep mode randomly

i have a lenovo Flex 3-1570 that is randomly going into sleep mode when i try to use it. It is not overheating and i can not find anything wrong with it. I have updated all my software and that did not fix it. need help ASAP

Hi Pheonix -  

 

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

 

Check to see if your screen saver is set to "Blank." If so, change it to "None."

Also, Go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Power Option>Change when the computer sleeps>Click Never>Ok

 

Update us how it goes.

I know this issue is probably resolved but I just solved a random sleep issue on a Lenovo v110.

 

My partner kept complaing that the machine kept going to sleep and then having to relog in.

 

After some head scratching I noticed she was wearing her Fit-Bit smart watch with a strap that uses neodymium magnets as part of the clasp mechanism on her left arm. This just so happened to co-incide with the sensor that senses the screen closing...

 

Lenovo - reposition the magnets in your systems i.e. put the magnet in the body not the screen or move it away from the touch pad location.
