Ideapad 320S 14-IKB (Type 80-X4) Display Resolution

2017-10-26, 14:24 PM

Hi,

It's a strange issue.

FullHD : 1920 x 1080

HalfHD (HD) : 1280 x 720

My Windows display properties are set to FullHD.

DirectX diagnostics also show it as FullHD.

However, as strange as it may seem, the output is not FullHD.

The best known way for me to test was to go to browsers that "show my screen resolution". They are accurate and I have been using it for quite some time now, being a web developer that I am.

Now, all of those websites refer the screen resolution as 1280x720.

Another way to check the resolution is to pull out the browser developer tools, drag to change the browser width and check the changing screen resolution.

Can anyone with a similar model confirm this behaviour?

Any suggestions or tools that I can use to check the screen output instead of just relying on the browsers?
