Ideapad 710S "Plus-13IKB" SSD is not showing up windows/linux installation

2017-04-07, 18:33 PM

In BIOS, SSD is  displaying fine but when I insert any USB bootable device , SSD does not appear for installation drive.

I did some mess up using command line using diskpart and I forgot to create partition after type the command clean. I wrote the following command

diskpart

list disk

select disk 1

clean

Now, during the installation , no drive is showing up.

Your  assistance will be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Shahin

Hello Sopnopriyo

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Any chance that you are able to try the SSD in another unit and see if it will let you install anything on there?

This would indicate an issue with the unit rather than the SSD.

Let us know how you get on.
