Hi amyvo26,

Welcome to the Forum.

So, you can not go through this screen?

If so, I would recommend you to access to the recovery menu pressing the Novo button ( with the unit off) and try to boot up your unit in safe mode. Then uninstall the antivirus.

If you can not boot up in safe mode, please try  to restore your unit to a point before you installed the antivirus, and again if this does not work, please try performing a factory reset.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards.

I have the exact same message on boot up! Same exact model, too, purchased late November. It's a sitting paper weight right now...

What is the Novo button and where is it?

Re: Lenovo ideapad flex 4 1480

Okay, I found and pressed the Novo button while it was off, but it just went back to the same screen. The memory test part takes a second at most, and then it just sits there...  The only way to turn it off is to hold down the power button. Please help! Thanks!

Re: Lenovo ideapad flex 4 1480

Try this:
Disconnect from the power supply.
Remove the back cover and disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the hard drive and reconnect the battery.
Turn on the computer and when it does not find a bootable drive, enter the bios and restore the default options.
Press F10, save and exit. Turn off the computer, reconnect the hard drive, and turn it on again. Luck
