I have a Lenovo 100s Chromebook, and on my main user account the touchpad stops working and the mouse dissappears every few minutes. I have to do a force shutdown whenever this happens, and I tried a powerwash on my computer to delete all local files, but it still happened twice more after just a few minutes when I reopened my main google user account. I'm currently using the Guest Account and I have yet to encounter the problem. This problem appeared just a few days ago and has become more and more frequent, now reaching the point where I have to force shutdown and restart so often that I cannot work in my classes. I don't want to have to replace the computer, and I can't figure out a software or hardware solution to this issue. Thanks!

Thank you for using the Lenovo forum,
What i suggest is trying a static discharge first, remove the ac cable and remove the battery is possible on your device. Hold the power button for 30 secs and plug everything back in again and try from there.
Make sure your windows updates are all done and make sure your drivers are up to date aswell. Follow this guide:https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/instantanswers/ad5a063e-5f57-c715-2566-b983195752c1/update-drive...
If these steps do not work or you would like more info on this issue you can call your local Lenovo support line. Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers:- https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/supportphonelist_full
Hope this help you and let us know how you get on
