I have an ideapad 300 and i want to use my laptop's screen as my ps4's monitor. I don't want to use remote play and I want to connect it with hdmi cable.
Can anyone help me do this work. it's too important for me.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
You cannot connect the PS straight to the laptop's HDMI (if it has one, I do not have this unit so can't confirm) as this is a HDMI output, same as with nearly every single laptop.
To achieve what you are trying, you will likely have to use a capture card of sorts, something like an Elgato. However, these as you can imagine, not exactly cheap, so I would say, you are much better off investing in a separate screen that you can use for your PS.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
