Low fps on ideapad gaming 3

Hello, I have a problem with fps in all games on ideapad gaming 3 15IHU6 model. Tried a lot of ways to fix this problem but nothing helped. I have tried ways like:
Updating all drivers from lenovo official website. (Including updating to the latest BIOS version);
In the Nvidia control panel I have set the maximum performance priority;
Reinstalled games, Reinstalled Windows;
Set maximum performance priority in Windows graphics settings, etc.
Please help solve this problem as soon as possible, as I understand that with a card like rtx 3050 can not be 90-180 fps in a not demanding game like cs:go on low graphics settings.

Re:Low fps on ideapad gaming 3

Hi Arystan077.

Thanks for posting in Lenovo Community!

Aside from the game CS:Go, are the other games that you are playing are also affected by this problem?

First, select Discrete Graphics in Configuration Tab in BIOS. For the steps on how to access BIOS, please refer to this link https://support.lenovo.com/kz/en/solutions/ht500216-recommended-way-to-enter-bios-ideapad. Kindly check as well the photo attached below for additional reference. Please make sure to save the changes before your exit BIOS.

Next, set the Power Plan in control Panel to High Performance. Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options. You should see an option like Balanced (recommended) or High Performance. Restart your laptop after saving the changes you've made.

Observe your system afterwards.

Re:Low fps on ideapad gaming 3

Thanks for the reply, Yes, the problem with fps is still observed in Call of Duty Warzone 2, this game is impossible to play at all... Constant freezes and spikes in fps from 35-40 to 2 at low settings at 1080p. There is no Discret Graphis section in BIOS, only Switchable Device and UMA. I have Switchable Device on. I also don't have the high performance section in the power management section. There is only "Balanced" and that's it... I also tried to create a High Performance partition via command line and PowerShell, but after rebooting the laptop, the partition would disappear.

Re:Low fps on ideapad gaming 3

Thank you for sharing those additional details. Back up your data on a separate location for option on full image reset via DDRS

Once you are done with the steps above, do not install any other updates or graphic driver and check out one non high demanding game at a time to observe. If the same issue then reach out to the Technical Support Team for further investigation and benchmarking.
