Hi.
Greetings @richpp.
Sorry to read that your touchscreen is not working after the upgrade.
I checked the support site using your MTM and it shows there that there are specific Windows 11 drivers available.
If the touchscreen driver disappeared after the upgrade then the recent cause for this disappearance is the upgrade itself.
Unfortunately among all the drivers available on the support page, the touchpad driver is not a type of driver that will be available on support page. The touchpad driver comes with the entire package of OS installed.
I see you have two options here if you wish to use the touchscreen and depending which of the options will be favorable to you.
First option, you can choose to stay in Windows 11 along with the touchscreen not working. If you choose to stay in Windows 11, that means you can either wait for Windows 11 monthly updates on settings. If you want Windows 11 OS, you can also choose to do a fresh installation of Windows 11 in your laptop and see if a new Windows 11 OS reinstallation will include a touchscreen driver on the package.
Second option. If you need the touchscreen, you can decide to perform a downgrade back to Windows 10. When you downgrade the OS, try checking for the functionality of touchscreen again.
I honestly think there is no problem with the hardware or LCD screen, what caused the touchscreen to disappear and predictably stop operating, is when the OS was upgraded.
Another option going after this is to reinstall Windows 10 OS. A fresh OS installation would work out as it brings all the drivers including the touchscreen.
Either of the two choices would be your call.
Regards.
