Bluetooth Audio Devices Connect but aren't seen as Audio Devices

2021-04-07, 23:19 PM

I have Klipsch Bluetooth buds and B&W PX headphones. Both connect properly to the laptop but are seen as random devices instead of audio devices so I cannot use the connected devices, Anyone have any idea what I can do to have them seen as audio devices on bluetooth? Luckily the PX can be used as wired devices too but I am going in for surgery and would prefer to be cordless and would love to use the earbuds.

My laptop is a Flex 5 I7 16GB Geforce card and Dolby Audio

Hello GruntmaN,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Apologies for the late reply.

I might advise trying to disconnect all Bluetooth devices currently connected to your machine.

Try to fully uninstall the Bluetooth drivers from the Device Manager. Be sure to tick the checkbox to completely uninstall.

Go to support site. On the support page, enter your machine serial number to load up the correct drivers, go to Drivers and Software tab, click on Manual Update. Look for Bluetooth drivers and proceed to installation. Restart the machine once the installation is complete and successful then start to check for the Bluetooth devices.

Thanks. I was able to add a different headset instead.
