Elan Pointing Device (Touchpad) missing settings

2020-09-19, 17:10 PM

Hi all,

I have a IdeaPad L340-15API and have a touchpad problem.

I think it's annoying that the buttons are touch sensitive, so would like to disable this.

I know this can be done on the Elan settings tab in Mouse Properties, but that's the problem:

I have no Elan settings tab...

Spend many hours online to find a solution, uninstalling the touchpad, installing differend drivers

(of course also the drivers on the Lenovo site), with and without administrator permission, but no Elan settings tab in Mouse Properties.

Reading around I see that a lot of others have the same problem, but I can't find any solution.

Anyone here who can help me?
