Idea Pad 110 - Volume issue

2017-02-17, 15:02 PM

How do I increase volume on Idea Pad 110?.  Brand new, out of the box and volume is poor.

Hi Kerryd1,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

What Ideapad 110 you got? Am I right to assume that you've used the F2/F3 buttons located on the top of the keyboard and through the volume control located in the taskbar?

Hi Kerryd1,

Have you tried checking support.lenovo.com for the latest audio drivers for the system. Just to sent your expectation, if you bought the 14/15/17 inch Idea Pad 110, these machines only have one speaker on them and would sound quieter than other laptops with 2 speakers on them.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

I did try the drivers but would think that a $500 laptop would have better sound.....

Of course I've tried the f1/f2 buttons and all of the other "controls".  Still a real crappy sound for a relatively expensive laptop.  I suppose I'll have to use external speakers.
